Professor Wole Soyinka just lost his second daughter Iyetade Apampa while receiving treatment at the University College Hospital, Ibadan to the cold hands of death at the age of 48. Iyetade is described as affable, intelligent and sometimes capricious. This beautiful of mother of two is reported to have struggled with her health in recent times but lost to the fight suddenly after being rushed to the hospital. Sometimes I wonder if it is not really better to travel out for treatment like our leaders do, Since they have refused to put the right structures in place. Msheeeew! Just watch and see how they will all rush to pay their condolence visits for the sake of the cameras. I hope Soyinka has otapiapia prepared? (Strolls away, I no dey fear) May her gentle soul rest in peace amen.
