WHERE IS STELLA MONYE?

For those who loved the "oko mi ye" crooner, we understand she is joyful and happy and its not just because she is now a grand mother but beacause God has been good to her.
A couple of years ago, Stella Monye, one of Nigeria’s delectable songbirds who sacrificed her teenage for her love of music was the subject of the collective empathy of many Nigerians on account of enduring injuries sustained by her son, Ibrahim Onyemaechi.
The Nigerian public and insititutions including governments responded positively and continue to do so to her plea for her help.
After a long hiatus in her musical career, during which she worked as an administrator at Guranga Foundation, a faith-based NGO, Stella made a half-hearted reclaim of her space in the Nigerian music industry about five years ago with an album titled: Outburst, featuring the hit tracks, Onyeoma and Elefe, which featured a reharsh of some of her hit songs of yore and a couple of fresh offering.

At the album launch, she was blessed with a couple of millions of naira with which she bought a second car, a brand new Hyundai i10 (an addition to her Honda saloon). This is the album she takes every where she goes to this day.
About two years ago, she became ill. Several visits to various hospitals and herbal remedy centres did not quite hit the nail on the head with a correct diagnosis until she went to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja-Lagos where doctors detected that she was ill with diabetes and started treating her. She had been too conscious of public perception in view of her previous (even enduring appeal on behalf of her son who had undergone several surgeries and was recommended for further treatment abroad). From being a shadow of her former self, she was spotted full of life and rejoicing at the recent Night of Legends orgainsed as part of the 2012 Hip Hop World Awards.
In between time, she enrolled to study Law at the Lagos State University to beef-up her academic credential from a first degree in Theatre Arts which she acquired from the University of Ife close to two decades ago.
She was also blessed as her daughter, Ebony had a child, thus making her a grand mother.
These and more are the things that have led to a new regime of closer relationship between Stella and Jesus Christ. Although, she lost her mother last year, her Christian conviction remains profound.
As a token of appreciation to God for His steadfastness in her life, Stella decided to devote her creative talents of acting and singing as a tool for Christian evangelism. This, she said, is the least she can do to thank God for sparing her life and that of her son.
Her debut gospel album is expected in the first quarter of next year. Meanwhile, she committed herself to making valuable contribution to the choir in her local church and also making ocassional appearance as a praise and worship leader.

Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic but
I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had problems with hackers
and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
