Boko Haram Commander Killed In An 8 Hour Gun Battle In Sokoto Yesterday!!!

After an eight hour gun battle in Sokoto between the Boko Haram sect and a combined team of security forces including Soldiers and operatives of the the state security service; a top Commander of the Boko Haram popularly called Buwayye (meaning "The untouchable" in Hausa language) was killed while another was captured yesterday in an operation.
( I thought there is a cease fire in place?) The battle lasted from 2.am on Thursday and well past 9.am today.
The Security forces also killed and captured some terrorists including their wives and children. 11 people were also rescued. A resident Gidan Dare said they were forced to say their last prayers as all they could hear throughout the night was continuous gun shots. Continue to see list of items recovered:
