This is the haunting, half-finished text message tapped out by a young driver, Alexander Heit's, who was killed before he could send it. His final text, cut-off mid-sentence, serves as a chilling reminder of the dangers of texting at the wheel.
The 22-year-old student died in a horror smash on April 3 after drifting into oncoming traffic, swerving and rolling his car off the road.Alexander’s heartbroken parents released the picture of the unfinished text on his iPhone in the hope that other drivers will be warned of the dangers.
The photo shows the University of Northern Colorado student replying to his friend, typing “Sounds good my man, seeya soon, ill tw” before he crashed.
This should serve as a warning, I am also guilty.
