Groom Steals £18,500 From Bride

Loved-up bride Charlie Astrand 25,returned from her dream honeymoon to find her angry dad waiting at the airport to drop the bombshell that her hubby had stolen a fortune from the family business. She found out the charmer she had just married was a thief and fraudster Jones 31,who had duped the family of £18,500 from the family's car dealership.

Culled From Wales New Service The honeymoon drama was revealed at Merthyr Tydfil crown court when Jones admitted 24 charges of fraud, forgery and theft .He went free after being given a nine-month jail sentence, suspended for 18 months.
Charlie said Jones had constantly lavished her with gifts.
