Candice Glover Wins American Idol

Candice Glover a soul singer from Rural South Carolina has won American Idol yesterday 16th May, 2013. This is no small feat as this will be the first time a woman is winning since 2007. She beat kree Harrison a Country singer in what was adjudged a close contest to take the title of American idol. Candice's road to stardom was a tough one as she had contested 2 other times but lost mid way into the show. Ryan Seacrest said,

" three years, persistence, determination and a lot of talent, you deserve it".
