Sir Alex Ferguson Retires as Man U Coach David Moyes Tipped To Replace Him

Manchester United has confirmed that its manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, will retire at the end of the season after 26 years in charge of the English champions. The Scot has been a great success at the Old Trafford where he has won 38 trophies since taking over from Ron Atkinson on November 6, 1986.The impressive trophy haul includes 13 league titles, five League Cups, five FA Cups and two UEFA Champions League crown.For Sir Alex Ferguson, the decision to retire was well thought out.
“The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about. It is the right time” 
The 71 year old gaffer said it was high time he left the club since he believes it is “in the strongest possible shape.”
Everton manager, David Moyes, is set to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as the coach of Premier League champions, Manchester United.Moyes could be announced in the next 24 hours. More on this later
