Controversial Pastor Fireman Turns His Bail Into A Money Making Time In Church

Alleged ritual offender Pastor Sign Fireman has been released on bail four days after he was arrested on the testimony of  an 18 year old boy who claimed he was sent to murder a virgin by the pastor.Pastor's in his church on Saturday used the opportunity of his bail to extort money from the congregation. According to Sahara Reporters, his church Perfect Christian Ministry Aguda was agog as members shared the testimony of his release. The testifiers said they believed that news of Fireman's arrest was God's way of advertising the church to attract more worshipers. Each person's testimony was turned into a money collecting avenue as the anchor said " God will use your shame to announce you.  The motivated worshipers  shoved their way to the altar tossing notes at the feet of the anchor. Pastor Fireman himself did not preach instead he introduced an unschooled man whom he claimed had ministered everywhere in the world. He said he brought the uneducated man so that people will know that uneducated people can also be raised by God. He then promised the congregation amidst roars of amen, that regardless of their qualification, members would be favored with positions without merit or qualifications. Throughout the meeting the Apostle asked for money for whatever story he told. He then testified to how he sowed N150,000 and touched the pillars in the church saying he wanted to become the pillar of finances in his family after which he asked members to sow N100,000, N30,000 and N10,000 to touch the same poles. 

My Take

I don't understand why they had to raise funds after all a Pastor from the same church told the press last week that Fireman's father owns a gold factory in Russia while his mum is a Professor! People can be so gullible! What kind of a name is Sign Fireman? Why did he change his name from Ofuche Ukoha? I pray that God will open the eyes of his children in Jesus name amen!
